Meet the instructor
Hillary Frank
Hillary Frank is the award-winning creator and host of The Longest Shortest Time, a podcast about the surprises and absurdities of raising other humans and Here Lies Me, a fiction podcast about middle school. Hillary's first radio story aired on This American Life in 1999, which she produced using a microcassette answering machine and a shiny red boombox. After becoming a frequent contributor to the show, her work appeared on a variety of public radio programs including Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Marketplace, and Studio 360. Hillary is also the author and illustrator of four books, including three young adult novels. In 2023, she wrote and directed the audiobook adaptation of Tegan and Sara’s graphic novel Junior High. Her next book, Wedlocked, is a feminist domestic thriller with Macmillan Audio Originals.
