Session Details

  • 60 minute mentorship session via Zoom or by phone.
  • Sarah is generally available between 9:00am and 5:00pm EST on weekdays, along with some weekday evenings.
Book a mentorship session with the creator of Sounds Gay, an award-nominated documentary podcast about queer music culture. Workshop story ideas and brainstorm reporting strategies with someone committed to helping you find your unique angle and voice.

Sarah loves the story-finding and reporting process. Come to her with, “I’d love to do something about ____ but I don’t know where to start,” and she’ll help you make a reporting plan. Have a few interviews under your belt but not sure where the story is headed? She’ll help you find the most interesting thread and decide on next steps. Sarah also has expertise in interviewing for narrative, show development, and scripting. Queer stories especially welcome!
