Meet the PRESENTER

Gabby Bulgarelli

Gabby Bulgarelli is an audio producer based in Brooklyn who creates immersive audio experiences about Black culture.  She's currently a freelance senior producer with clients such as Issa Rae's Raedio. Her work seeks to put Black history in conversation with contemporary music and culture in an informative and engaging way. As the Senior Producer of Louder Than A Riot from NPR Music, she reported on everything from the way the Black femme body is policed in hip hop to the trial of Tory Lanez in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Before Louder  Gabby worked on several seasons of the acclaimed podcast Mogul, where she reported on the the birth of chopped and screwed music in Houston and the 2 Live Crew’s fight to set first amendment precedent in Miami.
