Session Details

  • 60 minute mentorship session via phone call or video
  • Rekha is available Mondays through Fridays before 3pm ET through October 2023. 
  • Payment plans available for members and non-members
Rekha is excited to help individual podcasters design a show from scratch, or refresh an existing show. She can guide folks on podcast visioning and goal-setting, design at the show and episode levels, developing a show bible or pitch, pitching to partners and funders, and creating a strong content strategy. Rekha can also provide editorial review of a pilot, or an overview of the podcast and public radio industry landscape. Rekha can weigh in on owned and earned audience development such as cross promotions. 
Rekha enjoys working with folks at all levels, particularly aspiring to mid-career audio makers. She works regularly with folks in other fields who want a podcast to support their other endeavors.

About Rekha

Rekha Murthy is a podcast strategist with more than 20 years of experience in podcasting, public radio, and other digital media. She offers content strategy, editorial, distribution, and audience development services to clients of all sizes – from big companies and public radio stations to  independent creators, influencers, and journalists. Rekha is a founding team member and lead curriculum designer of Spotify’s Sound Up program, which brings skills and industry connections to brand-new makers around the world. She is a Peer Group Co-Chair for The Impact Guild. Rekha recently served as a Founding Governor of The Podcast Academy, host of The Ambies awards. She spent years at PRX + Radiotopia, NPR’s All Things Considered + NPR Online, and web and mobile startups. Rekha lives with her family in Arlington, MA.
