  • Acquiring basic knowledge to Pro Tools is easily translatable to learning any other new digital audio workstation, as well.

  • This course is great for those transitioning into the audio industry or for those starting out.

Who is this class for?

This class is for anyone who is curious or wants to get started on editing audio files on the industry standard software known as Pro Tools. If you’ve ever been hesitant, intimidated, or scared to learn Pro Tools, this would be a great class to start with as a stepping stone.
It is not required to have any experience with any audio-related software, but would help any transitional learning curves when utilizing a digital audio workstation. Those who are familiar with Audacity, Adobe Audition, Hindenburg, Ableton, LogicX Pro, Garageband, Cubase, and/or Reaper will have an easier time understanding the curriculum compared to those who have never used audio-based software prior.
It is encouraged to have basic computer fluency as we will be navigating through computer software throughout this course.
