She has won awards for her coverage of the economy, criminal justice, the military, and the costs of war, and has helped create and launch signature shows--including NPR’s Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me and The Run-Up (the precursor to The Daily) from the NYT. She's also built an independent podcast consultancy over the past 15 years, working with clients ( including The Athletic, Focus Features, and Stanford University) to create compelling stories--audio, video, digital-- driven by great characters and unexpected outcomes.
