Tom Grahsler

Philadelphia native Tom Grahsler is the Director of Digital Studios at WHYY, overseeing video and podcasts for Philadelphia’s public media station. 

He has almost two decades of experience in media production, earning credits at Discovery, National Geographic, Vice, Time Inc, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, Sports Illustrated, The Points Guy, and DotDash, to name a few. His work has appeared in campaigns with Chase, Capital One, Marriott, Hilton, American Express, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, Sesame Workshop, Unilever and much more. His feature documentary Welcome to Deathfest premiered at Maryland Film Festival in 2013.

Michael Olcott,
Sr. Producer

Michael Olcott is an award-winning producer of narrative podcasts, documentary films, and short-form video. Before joining WHYY’s Digital Studios, he co-produced Into the Depths, National Geographic’s first ever narrative podcast. He also led their video team, writing and producing short films that have garnered more than 50 million views on Youtube alone. Whether he’s collecting natural sound on a dive boat in Costa Rica, directing a crew in the Arabian desert, or researching gene-editing for a long-form documentary, Michael’s experience follows his passions – encompassing a diverse set of subjects including conservation, popular culture and social change.

Michaela Winburg, Producer

Michaela Winberg is a producer for the new WHYY and PRX show Peak Travel. She has also produced other local and national shows like Art Outside, Schooled, and The Statue. Michaela investigated the rise and fall of LGBTQ+ Pride organizations around the country and created the original limited-series podcast about it called March On: The Fight for Pride. Before that, Michaela was a general assignment reporter at Billy Penn. She graduated with her journalism degree from Temple University in 2018, where she was editor-in-chief of The Temple News. In her free time, she's almost certainly watching reality TV, rock climbing, or walking around South Philly saying "go birds" to strangers!

Bibiana Correa, AP

Bibiana Correa is a podcast associate producer for WHYY. Currently, she's helping on two original podcasts, Peak Travel and season 2 of Art Outside. Bibiana started at WHYY in February, prior to that she was a Digital Field Producer Fellow for KYW Newsradio helping produce local podcasts like The Jawncast and In Depth. Bibiana graduated from Temple University in 2021 where she majored in journalism and worked as the Managing Editor of the Temple News. When she's not on the clock, you can find her cooking elaborate vegan meals, crocheting flower bouquets and scrolling on Tik Tok.
