She now works as a mentor and consultant, helping individuals and companies build great teams, set up sustainable production processes, and create impactful, entertaining, and memorable content. Meet the panelist
Jayme Catsouphes
Jayme Catsouphes (he/him) is a founding member of Mumble Media and currently serves as the company's elected CFO. When he started his career, he didn’t know anyone making a living creating stuff like the original BBC Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy radio series (which is what he really wanted to do), so instead he turned to the lucrative world of public radio. After a bit of professional meandering, he landed at Audible, where he stayed for 5 years, producing a variety of comedy and audio fiction projects. Now, he’s an accomplished producer, editor, and sound designer. And a small business owner? Which still feels odd to say.
Meet the Panelist
Cara Ehlenfeldt
Cara Ehlenfeldt (they/them) is a director and producer working in audio and film. After completing their MA in Sound Arts and Industries at Northwestern, they began their career producing audio in New York City, working on audio fiction productions and beyond with Radiotopia’s The Truth, Criminal, Phoebe Reads a Mystery, Nickelodeon, and more. In 2021, they joined the worker-owned audio production cooperative Mumble Media and currently serve as the company’s elected CEO, working in production and new show development. They're currently based in Portland, Oregon, where they spend their time hiking, making independent films, and trying to discover the newest weirdest thing.
