Meet the instructor
Mia Lobel
Mia Lobel is Slate’s executive producer of podcasts. Previously she was the head of content at Pushkin Industries, where she developed hit shows including Revisionist History, Against the Rules, Broken Record, Deep Cover, and A Slight Change of Plans. She has taught many classes and workshops at the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, and she is on the board of directors of the Association of Independents in Radio. Lobel is a graduate of Wesleyan University and UC–Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. She lives in New York’s Hudson Valley.
