Meet the PRESENTERS

Anna Stitt

Anna Stitt (she/they) is an executive producer and editor on the Audible Originals team. Her collaborations have won a George Polk Award, an Indigenous Media Award, and an Oral History Association Multi-Media Award, among others. Several have also made the Associated Press list of top 10 most-listened audiobooks, including The Sleeping World: Rainforest Lounging with a Sloth, a collaboration with Mumble Media that happened to go viral. Stitt’s indie projects have been included in curricula everywhere from Minneapolis Public Schools to Georgetown University, and you can find her reporting on anti-racist skinheads in Teen Vogue. She is a graduate of the Transom Story Workshop.

Meet the pRESENTERS

Ann Heppermann

A three-time Peabody Award-winning audio journalist, editor, and educator, with more than 25 years of experience in the field, Ann Heppermann (she/her) has reported, produced, and edited for numerous audio shows, including: This American Life, Radiolab, 99% Invisible, Marketplace, and others. She has been the executive producer, editor, and senior producer for numerous podcast series, such as Heaven’s Gate, Fela Kuti: Fear No Man (2025 Peabody Award), Pulse: The Untold Story (2024 Peabody Award), Infamous: The Tekashi 6ix9ine Story, Crossing Borders (2006 Peabody Award), and others. In 2011, she was named a Rosalynn Carter Mental Health Journalism Fellow and was also named a United States Artist Rockefeller Fellow for her media innovation. Heppermann is also a dedicated educator, having taught audio journalism and audio fiction at Sarah Lawrence College since 2009. She is currently an executive producer at Audible where she works on fiction and nonfiction series.
