Narrative podcasts have been made about literally everything - from big themes like class structure in America or to small, detailed looks at stories of individual lives or the history of small towns. But how do all of the parts come together to make these shows sing? In this class we will take a close look at serialized narrative podcasts to identify the core elements you need to bring your idea to life. This class  will also draw examples from shows like Mogul and Louder Than A Riot, taking students behind the scenes to understand the elements that make up each show.
This class will have one homework assignment.

Who is this class for?

Familiarity with podcast production is helpful but not required. Students with an idea for a narrative show or even better an in progress narrative project will get the most out of this class.
