Branding 2.0+: Developing an Authentic Voice and Vision for an Exceptional Podcast Brand 

Whether you’ve already launched, or are in the planning stages of your next big project, this course supports you in establishing an exceptional podcast brand that’s in alignment with your highest core values and vision as a creator.
We will address common obstacles to strategic growth by grounding our work in the core fundamentals of branding that most creators skip in the initial launch stages, rushing against the clock to get production up and running.

You will leave this class with a workshopped Brand ID deck and the confidence to implement, promote and grow your brand.

We ask AIR members to pay the full AIR member price ($490), which includes the real cost of running classes on SoundPath. If you are in a position of financial hardship, a sliding scale option is available.
We will not request proof of income for sliding scale enrollment. We will reach out to you to discuss sharing a testimonial or feedback on the class.

In this class you will not only learn and explore the foundations for visioning and producing exceptional creative work, but will come away empowered with the strategic processes to solve real-time challenges — How can I evolve and grow not only my creative content and podcast reach, but also strategically grow my business as a creative brand or establish a team? 

Classes will cover:
  • From Branding to Messaging: How to ground and express a clear consistent message, creating the impact you desire.
  • Translating Your Brand: How to creatively represent, promote, and market your podcast.
  • Growth: From finding your Resonators (Core Audience) to an overview of legal & ethical formats that protect you, your podcast and guests.
Exercises, assignments, and screen time require your active participation, in order to build foundational skills necessary to team building, networking, pitching, communicating and presenting your ideas.
This class is suitable for anyone in any stage of their radio or podcast career.

You will leave this class with a workshopped Brand ID deck and the confidence to implement, promote and grow your brand.


  • You will be required to pair up with a project partner who you will meet with 1x a week to discuss your insights from the activities and assignments 
  • Ability to dedicate 15-20 min per day to assignments, in time to review with your partner and share in class 
  • You’ll be building a final Brand ID Deck, to share with your classmates, in a 5 minute ‘pitch’ during our last class. Be prepared to spend more time on your homework assignments between Weeks 2-4 to get the most out of this course

Meet the instructor

Jahala Love

Jahala Love, is a Columbia University (NYC) trained writer-journalist, sound artist, audio producer, and advanced student of Dr. Joe Dispenza. Love specializes in branding, offering guidance in developing an authentic creative career, and has been invited to lecture and lead masterclasses at major creative higher education institutions and non-profits throughout Germany and the UK. She served as Storyline Consultant for Dance Divas: The Documentary Podcast (1978-1988), currently on air with the BBC World Service. While attending Columbia she led the News Department of WKCR 89.9FM, and would later program, produce and host radio in: Germany, the US, New Zealand, and Switzerland. Love’s amassed a world-wide network of compelling people and insider resources following a 10+ year creative career spanning the fields of: Fashion trend forecasting, market research, consumer insights, and entertainment, working as the Lead Social Strategist for Peaches (XL Records / Beggars Group).
